Kindness Knows When to Duck Out

“God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance: (2 Peter 3:9). Repentance is a choice, therefore God is willing to allow all people to choose their consequences. Kindness means we speak the truth to our neighbor, or loved one. But it also means we give them the space to choose for themselves.

Kindness Sets People Straight

Being kind seems to meet a crossroads when it comes to someone doing wrong. Is it kind to have an intervention? Is it kindness to confront someone overtaken in sin?
According to the law of Christ we are told,

“Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:1-2).

To Your Soul Be Kind

Pressure has a way of building up and leaving our soul in torment. We are told that the pressure from sin in Sodom and Gomorrah “tormented the soul of righteous Lot” (2 Peter 2:8). This pressure can build up to bursting or we can find a way to release it and give it to God. The next 3 minutes will help us learn how to be kind to our Souls.
