We all have a relatively short life. Even if we make it into our 90’s or possibly 100, our life is a drop in eternities bucket. A vapor. “Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit’— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes” (James 3:13-14). How should we live today?

Kindness puts labels on a can, but not on our fellow man. It is easy to categorize people by their appearance, their politics, their socioeconomics, and even their likes or dislikes. This morning message deals with this concept and who we should trust concerning labels. God has made it possible for all earthly labels to peel away, and be left with Christ. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28).
